Jesus told a parable in Matthew 25, about “the kingdom of heaven” being compared to ten virgins; five wise and five foolish. “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be compared to ten virgins…” Matthew 25:1. Notice that the kingdom of heaven comparison included all ten virgins, not only the five who were wise. Before continuing with the parable, it is noteworthy to mention that Moses disobeyed God, smiting a rock in the wilderness twice, instead of speaking to it, as God commanded him. ...

In the Book of Matthew 25, Jesus compared His return to Earth with a description of ten virgins, five wise and five foolish, who were waiting for a bridegroom to arrive for his bride.  Jesus said that while the bridegroom delayed, the virgins slept.  Five of them were foolish and did not place oil in their lamps, and five were wise, having filled their lamps with oil in preparation for the wedding.  It is difficult to grasp the full context of what Jesus said, unless you understand Jewish wed...
